President Bola Tinubu has appointed Zahrah Audu as the Director-General of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC). The appointment was officially announced on Monday, January 20, 2025.

Zahrah Audu, an entrepreneur and technology expert, brings a solid background in software engineering and a degree in business management from a prestigious university in the United Kingdom.
In her new role as PEBEC DG, Zahrah is tasked with driving reforms to enhance Nigeria’s business environment and attract foreign investments.

With extensive experience in business development, innovation, and investment promotion, Zahrah is expected to bring strategic insight and fresh energy to the council.

A notable philanthropist, she previously spearheaded the Invest Nigeria campaign and organized the Existing Foreign Direct Investors Roundtable Forum, initiatives that bolstered Nigeria’s reputation as a leading investment destination.
