The highly anticipated 17th edition of the annual urban and hip-hop culture awards, The Headies, is scheduled to take place on April 5, 2025, according to a statement released on Monday by the event’s executive producer, Ayo Animashaun.
“This year’s edition is packed with an extraordinary lineup of events, culminating in a week-long celebration of the industry’s growth and artistic ingenuity,” Animashaun revealed.
The 2025 Headies festivities will begin on March 29, 2025, with a Stakeholders’ Brunch and a series of nominees’ parties, leading up to the grand awards ceremony on April 5.
In an exciting twist, the organizers announced the introduction of The Headies Festival, a new addition featuring activities that highlight the best of music, entertainment, and culture.
Details on the hosts, nominees, and special artist performances for this year’s event are yet to be unveiled. Since its inception in 2006, The Headies has been a premier platform for celebrating the remarkable achievements of artists and entertainers in the Nigerian music industry.
