Nexford University, a next-generation online university, has graduated 1,200 students worldwide, including seven Nigerian students who received special awards for their outstanding academic performance and character.

The graduation ceremony took place on Saturday at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos.

The seven Nigerian awardees are:
- Omolade Ganiyat Yusuf: Best Peer Mentor in the BBA Program
- Eganoyemi Oloruntosin Adetayo: Best Peer Mentor in the MBA Program
- Christopher Chukwuka Otakpor: Outstanding Volunteer Award in the BBA
- Kayode Olaitan Owoyemi: Outstanding Volunteer Award – MBA
- Abdul Shakur Haruna: Outstanding Brand Ambassador – Ghana
- Christian Arimoku Ebhoma: Outstanding Brand Ambassador – Nigeria
- Oluwasegun Anuoluwapo Ogundiran: Valedictorian of the Year for Class 2024 with a 4.0 CGPA
Keynote speakers, including Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State, and Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, CEO of Human Capital Africa, urged the graduates to make a positive impact in their communities and the world at large.


Ezekwesili emphasized the importance of acquiring skills relevant to the modern job market, citing the increasing influence of Artificial Intelligence.
