Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface is on the verge of completing a lucrative move to Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia after passing medical check-ups.
According to reports, Bayer Leverkusen has agreed to a staggering €60 million deal with the Saudi club for the 24-year-old striker.
Boniface, who joined Leverkusen in July 2023 for €20.5 million, has been in impressive form, scoring 14 goals in 23 league matches and helping the team win the Bundesliga without losing a game.
He was also named the league’s Rookie of the Year award.
The Al-Nassr deal will see Boniface earn a whopping €15 million net per season, making him one of the highest-paid players in the world.
He will join an illustrious list of stars at the Middle Eastern club, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, and Aymeric Laporte.
Once confirmed, Boniface’s move will become the second most expensive departure in Leverkusen’s history, after Kai Havertz’s €80 million transfer to Chelsea five years ago.
