Six people were killed, and 38 others sustained injuries after Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) launched an attack on a hospital in Omdurman, Khartoum province, the health ministry reported on Tuesday.
The strike targeted a medical facility amid ongoing clashes between the RSF and Sudanese government forces, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the war-torn country.
The attack comes as Sudan continues to grapple with escalating violence, displacing thousands and overwhelming healthcare infrastructure. Medical officials have condemned the assault, calling for the protection of hospitals and civilians caught in the conflict.
