The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned nine Chinese nationals and a company, Genting International Co. Ltd., before the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, over alleged cyber-terrorism and internet fraud.

The defendants were accused of cybercrimes, cyber-terrorism, possession of documents containing false pretenses, and identity theft.

They pleaded “not guilty” to the charges and were remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre. The case was adjourned to February 21 and March 7, 2025, for trial.
