South Africa: Five Men Shot, Robbed, and Set Ablaze Inside Car in Cape Town

Five men were brutally murdered in Philippi East, Cape Town, on Friday night.

According to Western Cape police, four armed attackers approached the victims’ vehicle in the Better Life area, robbed them, shot them dead, and then set the car alight.

The victims, estimated to be between 20 and 30 years old, have not yet been identified.

Authorities are investigating the motive behind the attack and are urging anyone with information to contact Captain Andre Lotter at 079 894 1547.

This incident follows a series of shootings in Cape Town earlier in the week, some of which are suspected to be gang-related.
