A suspected Boko Haram commander, identified as Mulwuta, has issued a chilling threat against residents of Banki, a border town in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.
According to local sources, Mulwuta warned that if the people of Banki fail to “repent” by Ramadan, they would be “slaughtered like goats.”
The threat has sparked widespread fear in the community, which has endured repeated attacks by insurgents over the years.
The warning has heightened tensions in the town, with residents fearing another wave of violence.
