International airline Emirates has signed an interline agreement with Nigeria’s Air Peace, enhancing connectivity for passengers traveling to and from Nigeria.

The partnership will allow Emirates to expand its reach to 13 additional cities in Nigeria, offering seamless single-ticket travel and simplified baggage transfer. The agreement was announced in a joint statement by Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, and Air Peace’s Chief Operating Officer, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olajide disclosed on Tuesday.
According to the statement, travelers flying from Dubai to Lagos will now have easier access to domestic destinations, including Asaba, Akure, Benin City, Calabar, Enugu, Ilorin, Kaduna, and Owerri. The agreement will also benefit corporate travelers with additional connections to Kano, Uyo, Port Harcourt, Warri, and Abuja.
Emirates emphasized that the partnership would further strengthen trade and tourism ties between Nigeria and the UAE.

Kazim stated, “Emirates is a steadfast partner of Nigeria’s tourism, trade, and aviation sectors. This partnership with Air Peace is the next step on this journey, bolstering our connectivity and introducing more travel options for corporate and leisure travelers, as well as those visiting friends and family.”
Air Peace’s COO, Olajide, expressed excitement about the collaboration, describing it as a step toward greater global connectivity for Nigerian travelers.

She noted, “We are excited about this strategic interline partnership, which aligns with our mission to provide seamless, world-class travel experiences. This collaboration not only expands Air Peace’s international reach but also enhances travel efficiency, boosts business and tourism opportunities, and strengthens Nigeria’s position as a key aviation hub.”
The partnership is expected to enhance Nigeria’s aviation sector by improving connectivity and convenience for passengers traveling between Nigeria and the UAE.
