Tunisia National Team has re-appointed Sami Trabelsi as the new head coach of the Carthage Eagles.
This marks Trabelsi’s second stint in charge, having previously led the team between 2011 and 2013. During his first tenure, he guided Tunisia to victory at the 2011 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The 57-year-old takes over from Kais Yaakoubi, who served as interim head coach following the departure of Faouzi Benzarti. Under Yaakoubi’s leadership, Tunisia secured their place at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with a dramatic 3-2 win over Madagascar in the qualifiers.
In addition to Trabelsi’s appointment, Hamadi Daou has been named assistant coach, while Mohamed Sahli is also set to join the new technical crew.
The revamped coaching team includes:

- Aymen Jedidi & Wassim Maala – Physical preparation and development
- Hichem Jaziri – Goalkeeping coach
- Helmi El-Kachou & Walid Bentmansour – Tactical analysts
Trabelsi will now focus on preparing Tunisia for upcoming international competitions.
