The U.S. Embassy in Libya announced that the U.S. Air Force carried out a joint aerial activity with Libyan forces on February 26, 2025.
This exercise aimed to foster east-west military integration, enhance air defense and air traffic control capabilities, and reunify Libya’s military institutions.
According to the embassy, this joint activity demonstrates the U.S. commitment to unity and stability in Libya.
The U.S. Air Force has previously conducted operations in Libya, including airstrikes against Daesh targets in 2017.
This development comes as Libya continues to work towards stability and security, with the support of international partners like the United States.
