Nigeria’s immediate past High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola, has extended heartfelt condolences to Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako, Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, on the passing of his mother, Alhaja Fadilat Anike Salako.
Alhaja Salako, who died on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the age of 95, was described by Ambassador Isola as a “devout Muslim mother” who lived her life according to Islamic precepts and had a positive influence on her family and community in Ayetoro, Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State.
In a statement titled “The Passing of a devout mother in Ramadan,” Ambassador Isola noted that the timing of Alhaja Salako’s death during the holy month of Ramadan was a testament to her devotion to Allah.
He prayed that Allah would forgive her sins and grant her Aljannah Firdaus.
Ambassador Isola’s condolences come as a gesture of support to Dr. Salako and his family during this difficult time.
