The Presidency has dismissed claims that President Bola Tinubu traveled to France for medical treatment, describing the speculation as baseless.
Presidential aide Daniel Bwala clarified that Tinubu is in France on a working visit, where he will review the progress of ongoing reforms and engage in strategic planning ahead of his administration’s second anniversary.
Tinubu left Nigeria on April 2, 2025, and is expected to return on April 16, 2025.
The Presidency has been publishing Tinubu’s activities in France, showcasing his official engagements and meetings, and Bwala criticized the spread of misinformation on social media, emphasizing the transparency of the Presidency regarding the President’s schedule.
