The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has reduced the pump price of premium motor spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, at its filling stations in Lagos and Abuja.

The new prices are N880 per litre in Lagos and N935 per litre in Abuja, representing a N45 and N15 drop, respectively.

The price reduction comes days after the Dangote refinery reduced its ex-gantry price of petrol to N890 per litre, leading to a decrease in pump prices by key partners.

The NNPC’s price adjustment varies across locations, with some stations selling petrol for N905, N910, or N935 per litre.

This development is expected to provide relief to Nigerians who have been grappling with the economic impact of fuel price fluctuations.
