Liverpool secured the Premier League title on Sunday with a dominant 5-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.
Tottenham took the lead in the 12th minute when Dominic Solanke scored, assisted by James Maddison. However, Liverpool responded swiftly, leveling the score just four minutes later. Luis Díaz fired home a well-placed shot in the 16th minute, following a pass from Dominik Szoboszlai.

The Reds continued their surge with Alexis Mac Allister putting Liverpool ahead in the 24th minute, assisted by Ryan Gravenberch. The first half ended 3-1 in Liverpool’s favor after Cody Gakpo added a third goal in the 34th minute.

Mohamed Salah, who played a pivotal role throughout, extended the lead in the 63rd minute, once again benefiting from Szoboszlai’s assist. The final blow came in the 69th minute when Tottenham’s Destiny Udogie scored an own goal, pushing the scoreline to 5-1.

The match saw yellow cards for Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott and Tottenham’s Richarlison during added time, but the result was never in doubt. With the win, Liverpool were crowned Premier League champions, marking a historic achievement in their title race.
