The most senior staff of the agency will take over pending the outcome of an investigation by a special committee to be constituted by the government.

The move comes amid growing concerns over financial mismanagement in the agency.

The governor’s directive aims to ensure transparency and accountability in the management of the agency’s resources.

The investigation will determine the extent of any wrongdoing and recommend appropriate actions.
