The police found Wabi in critical condition with multiple stab wounds in the neck and rushed him to the hospital, where he was later confirmed dead.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the attack was carried out by Ahmad Abdulkadir and Faruk Malami, both acquaintances of Wabi’s 24-year-old son, Abdulgafar Isa Mohammed.

One of the suspects, Malami, was found unconscious at the scene and later declared dead. Abdulgafar Isa Mohammed has been taken into custody for questioning and is cooperating with the police.

The Bauchi State Commissioner of Police has assured the victim’s family of a thorough investigation to ensure justice is served.
