Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori met with President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja, marking his first official visit since defecting to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Oborevwori described the meeting as “insightful” and aimed at unlocking long-term opportunities for growth.

Tinubu confirmed the meeting, stating that the discussion focused on development challenges and economic prospects in Delta.

The governor also met with Abdullahi Ganduje, national chairman of the APC, at his residence in Abuja, where they discussed politics and the economy.

Festus Keyamo, minister of aviation and aerospace development, welcomed Oborevwori as Delta APC’s “indisputable leader”.

The meetings underscore the governor’s efforts to strengthen ties with key APC figures and explore opportunities for state development.
