Nigerian hurdler Tobi Amusan clinched victory in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Rabat Diamond League on Sunday, smashing the meet record with a time of 12.45 seconds.

Amusan’s run broke the previous record of 12.51 seconds set by American Brianna McNeal in 2018 and marked her season’s best. The 2022 World Champion dominated the race, pulling ahead of the field with ease.
Trailing her was Nadine Visser of the Netherlands, who finished second with a season-best 12.67 seconds, while Poland’s Pia Skrzyszowska took third in 12.69 seconds.

Other notable performances included Switzerland’s Ditaji Kambundji (12.71s SB), Italy’s Giada Carmassi (12.81s PB), Elena Carraro (12.89s), USA’s Destiny Huven (12.93s), France’s Sacha Alessandrini (12.96s SB), and Austria’s Karin Strametz (13.08s SB). The race had a favorable wind of +1.2.
