Victor Osimhen capped off a prolific loan spell at Galatasaray in style, scoring in the club’s 2-0 victory over Istanbul Basaksehir in their final Turkish Super Lig match of the season on Friday night.

The Yellow and Reds took an early lead in the 15th minute through a penalty converted by Belgian veteran Dries Mertens. Osimhen sealed the win with a well-taken goal nine minutes from time, adding to his remarkable tally.

The 26-year-old Nigerian striker enjoyed an outstanding campaign under head coach Okan Buruk, netting 26 league goals and finishing with 37 goals and seven assists across all competitions.
Galatasaray’s win marked their 30th league victory of the 2024/25 season, propelling them to a final tally of 95 points and reaffirming their domestic dominance.

Meanwhile, Istanbul Basaksehir ended the season in fifth place, securing qualification for the 2025/26 UEFA Europa Conference League.
