The Labour Party’s governorship candidate, George Moghalu, has unveiled Ifeoma Okaro as his running mate for the November 8, 2025, Anambra State governorship election.
Moghalu expressed confidence in the party’s victory, emphasizing the need for party unity and an aggressive campaign at the local level.
He also highlighted his commitment to accountability and noted that the 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, fully supports their campaign.
Okaro, the deputy governorship candidate, urged women to unite behind the flag bearer and herself, emphasizing that Moghalu has demonstrated gender and religious sensitivity.
