The Presidency has denied reports that President Bola Tinubu has awarded national honours to human rights activist Aisha Yesufu, despite a viral list circulating on social media featuring her name and 35 others.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Temitope Ajayi, described the reports as “fake news” and clarified that the Presidency has not issued fresh names for national honour different from the ones announced by President
