Nigeria: Former Abia Deputy Governor Resigns From PDP

Former Abia State Deputy Governor, Ude Oko Chukwu, has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) due to personal reasons, ending a long-standing affiliation with the party.

In his resignation letter dated August 5, 2025, Chukwu expressed gratitude to the party for the opportunities availed to him to serve at various levels and appreciated the experience and knowledge gained during his membership.
