His career highlights include leading roles at Bloomberg Television Africa and founding Optima Sports Management International (OSMI), which distributes premium sports events to over 40 countries.

As Director-General, Pedro is expected to modernize NTA and reposition it in the increasingly competitive media market.

Industry analysts credit him with building commercially viable broadcast platforms, boosting sponsorship revenues, and delivering world-class content to African audiences.

Other key appointments include Karimah Bello as Executive Director of Marketing, Stella Din as Executive Director of News, and Sophia Issa Mohammed as Managing Director of NTA Enterprises Limited.

Pedro’s appointment signals the Federal Government’s intention to revamp the state broadcaster and enhance its global presence.

With his extensive experience and expertise, Pedro is poised to lead NTA into a new era of relevance, innovation, and global competitiveness.
