Super Falcons captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, has completed a move to French giants Paris Saint-Germain Féminines, signing a two-year contract after leaving Atlético Madrid Femenino.

The 25-year-old forward, renowned for her pace, creativity, and goal-scoring instincts, joins PSG following a successful four-and-a-half-year stint in Spain.

During her time at Atlético, Ajibade made 139 appearances, scored 40 goals, and lifted two major titles—the 2021 Spanish Super Cup and the 2023 Copa de la Reina.

Her arrival in Paris comes on the back of a historic summer with Nigeria, where she captained the Super Falcons to their 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title in Morocco and was crowned Most Valuable Player of the tournament.

At PSG, Ajibade will link up with compatriot Jennifer Echegini, forming a formidable Nigerian duo in the French capital. The move not only strengthens PSG’s attacking options but also highlights the club’s determination to challenge for honors in both the UEFA Women’s Champions League and the Division 1 Féminine.

With her proven pedigree in Europe and leadership on the international stage, Ajibade’s signing is expected to inject fresh energy, experience, and attacking firepower into the PSG squad.
