The British Embassy in Cairo reopened on Tuesday after a two-day closure due to diplomatic tensions between Egypt and the UK.

The embassy was shut down on Saturday after Egyptian authorities removed security barriers outside the building, prompting the UK to take a stand over what it perceived as inadequate security measures to protect Egypt’s embassy during recent protests in London.

The British Embassy is located at 7 Ahmed Ragheb Street, Garden City, Cairo, and operates from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
