President Tinubu Set to Return to Abuja Tuesday After Vacation

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will return to Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, ending his annual vacation earlier than planned.

According to a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Tinubu departed Nigeria for France on September 4 to begin his holiday, with initial plans to spend part of the vacation in the United Kingdom.

While in Paris, the Nigerian leader hosted a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace. The two presidents discussed key areas of cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Nigeria–France relations for mutual prosperity and global stability.

President Tinubu is expected to immediately resume official duties upon his return to the capital.
