The Barça Legends recorded their second win of the season on Saturday, defeating an African Legends side 3–1 in an entertaining exhibition match at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, Nigeria.

Goals from Roberto Trashorras, Nolito, and Roger Garcia sealed the victory for Albert Ferrer’s team, who displayed trademark attacking flair before a crowd of over 18,000 fans.
The Catalan side started with Jesús Angoy in goal alongside Samuel Okunowo, Philippe Christanval, Fernando Navarro, Juan Pablo Sorín, Trashorras, Roger, Gaizka Mendieta, Javier Saviola, Ludovic Giuly, and Haruna Babangida. Despite early possession dominance, Barça struggled to break through the resilient African defence in the opening minutes.

The best chance of the first half initially fell to the African Legends, who were awarded a penalty, but goalkeeper Angoy saved Austin Jay Jay Okocha to keep the scores level. Moments later, Trashorras broke the deadlock with a fine strike from the edge of the box to make it 1–0 for the visitors.

Senegalese star El Hadji Diouf equalized for the African Legends before the break, but Barça quickly regained the lead three minutes later as Nolito finished off a precise pass from Giuly to restore their advantage.
The Blaugrana legends continued to pile on pressure and were eventually rewarded when Roger Garcia found the back of the net to extend the lead to 3–1, sealing a well-deserved victory.

Both teams entertained the Abuja fans with flashes of brilliance and nostalgia, as several former stars showcased their enduring talent and spirit of the game.
The match marked Barça Legends’ second win of the season, following their 3–2 triumph over Monterrey Legends earlier in the year.
