Gunmen abducted several people, including a 16-year-old boy and six girls aged 17-23, from Gidan-Bijimi village in Abuja’s Bwari Area Council on Wednesday night, just hours after President Bola Tinubu declared a nationwide security emergency.

The attackers, armed with AK-47 rifles, stormed the village around 10 pm, shooting indiscriminately before whisking away the victims.
