The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced its ex-depot petrol price from N828 to N699 per litre, a N129 decrease, effective December 11, 2025.
This marks the refinery’s 20th price adjustment this year, aimed at maintaining competitive pricing and easing transportation costs during the festive season.
According to Abubakar Garima, national president of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), the refinery notified marketers of the price cut, allowing them to purchase the product for the holiday season.
Aliko Dangote, president of the Dangote Group, had previously stated that the refinery would continue to reduce prices to compete with importers.
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited had also reduced its petrol price to N900 per litre in Lagos and N940 per litre in Abuja on November 27.
