Former heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has resumed training 19 days after a car crash on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway that claimed the lives of his strength and conditioning coach, Sina Ghami, and trainer Latif ‘Latz’ Ayodele.
Joshua, 36, posted a video on Snapchat showing himself hitting pads and working out, captioning it “mental strength therapy”.
He also shared photos of himself on an exercise bike and swimming, with captions “I am a fighter” and a throwback image of his fight against Wladimir Klitschko.
The crash, which occurred on December 29, left Joshua hospitalized and led to criminal charges against his driver, Adeniyi Kayode, who pleaded not guilty to dangerous driving, claiming brake failure.
