A high-level security alert has been issued for communities south of Jos, Plateau State, as credible intelligence suggests armed Fulani terrorists plan to launch coordinated attacks tonight.
The targeted areas include Barkin Ladi, Riyom, and Jos South Local Government Areas.
Residents of Bisichi, Gassa, Wereng, Nunkur, Mereh, Tahoss, Kwi, Rim, and Farin Lamba are advised to exercise extreme caution.
Community leaders have been urged to activate local vigilance networks, while security agencies have been notified.
Avoid unnecessary travel after dark and report any suspicious movements to the nearest security outpost.
