The Nigeria International Energy Summit (NIES) 2026 has announced Team Lead of Platforms Africa, Adeola Yusuf, Ph.D, as a key speaker, highlighting his expertise in strategic communication for Nigeria and Africa’s energy future.

The summit, themed “Energy for Peace and Prosperity: Securing Our Shared Future,” brings together global leaders and policymakers to discuss human capital, leadership, and strategic communication in driving energy transformation.

Yusuf will participate in a panel session, “Talent, Leadership & Narrative for Nigeria and Africa’s 2050 Energy Goals,” alongside notable industry leaders, including Ahmed Galadima Aminu, Executive Secretary, Petroleum Trust and Development Fund (PTDF), and other experts from NNPC, Chevron, and the World Energy Council.

The session will focus on future skills and workforce needs, youth development, STEM competencies, women’s leadership, and inclusive talent pipelines.

Yusuf, an award-winning journalist, will emphasize the role of energy communications, media, and ESG storytelling in attracting investment and projecting a cohesive African energy narrative.

The NIES 2026 aims to unite leaders from industry, government, academia, media, and civil society to drive Nigeria’s and Africa’s energy transformation, positioning the continent as a credible, competitive, and investable energy destination.
