Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, stated that the government is committed to protecting citizens’ lives and constitutional right to live and worship freely without fear.

The operation is backed by enhanced intelligence gathering and rapid-response protocols.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu described the attacks as “beastly” and “heartless,” vowing to bring perpetrators to justice.

The government has also strengthened security around places of worship and reassigned police officers from VIP escort duties to frontline community policing roles.
