Nigeria: NNPC Records N5.76trn Profit in 2025, Revenue Hits N60.51trn

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has reported a profit after tax (PAT) of N5.76 trillion for the 2025 fiscal year, with total revenue reaching N60.51 trillion.

The company made statutory payments of N14.7 trillion to government agencies and partners during the year.

Nigeria’s average crude and condensate output stood at 1.54 million barrels per day (bpd) in December 2025, down 3.75% from November’s 1.6 million bpd due to planned maintenance and unplanned outages.

The company’s natural gas output dipped to 6.19 million standard cubic feet per day (mscfd) in December 2025.

NNPC also completed mainline welding works on the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas pipeline and commenced pilot hole drilling on the Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben (OB3) gas pipeline.
