Twenty-one players have reported to the Nigeria national football team camp in Antalya, Turkey, ahead of upcoming international friendlies against Iran and Jordan.

The camp opened on Tuesday, with coaches and officials arriving earlier to finalise preparations. An advance delegation, including assistant coaches Daniel Ogunmodede and Fidelis Ilechukwu, had earlier put logistics in place.

Team media officer Promise Efoghe confirmed that the latest arrivals include Samuel Chukwueze and Maduka Okoye, bringing the number of players in camp to 15.

Other early arrivals are Alex Iwobi, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Semi Ajayi, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Moses Simon, Paul Onuachu and Frank Onyeka, among others.

Several players, including Wilfred Ndidi and Calvin Bassey, are still expected to join the squad.

The team is lodged at the Bellis Deluxe Hotel and will begin training on Wednesday as preparations intensify for the friendlies.

Nigeria will face Iran on Friday before taking on Jordan on March 31, with both matches moved to Turkey due to security concerns in the Middle East. Head coach Eric Chelle had earlier named a 23-man squad for the fixtures, excluding key players such as Victor Osimhen, Ola Aina and Stanley Nwabali.
