FC Midtjylland midfielder Alamara Djabi is in stable condition after sustaining serious injuries in a stabbing incident in Denmark.
According to local authorities, the attack occurred in the early hours of Sunday in Herning, where the club is based. Police have since opened an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The 19-year-old Guinea-Bissau international, who joined Midtjylland in 2023 from SL Benfica’s academy, had initially been in critical condition following the attack.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the Danish club confirmed that Djabi underwent emergency surgery and later a second operation, with his condition now stabilised.

“He has awakened from an induced coma and is doing well under the circumstances,” the club said, praising the swift response of emergency services and medical staff.
Djabi spent last season on loan at CD Mafra, where he made seven appearances, and has featured once for Midtjylland this season during UEFA Europa League qualifying.
Midtjylland, four-time Danish champions, are currently second in the league standings, trailing AGF by two points.
