President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Alhaji Ashafa Ajibola Erogbogbo on his 100th birthday, describing the milestone as a rare blessing.
Erogbogbo, a retired aviation supervisor at Shell Company Nigeria Limited and elder statesman, turned 100 on May 28.
In a congratulatory message, Tinubu said reaching 100 years reflected a life of discipline, dedication, integrity, and service to the nation and humanity.
The President acknowledged Erogbogbo’s contributions through his work at the Government Printing Press, Nigeria Customs and Excise, and Shell Company Nigeria Limited, noting his professionalism and commitment to excellence.
Tinubu also recognized Erogbogbo’s role as a respected community leader in Ikorodu, Lagos State, and a mentor to younger generations.
He extended felicitations to the family, including Erogbogbo’s daughter, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman and CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, and prayed for continued good health, peace, and happiness for the centenarian.
