Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder, Alex Iwobi scored his first goal of the season as Fulham secured a 2-1 victory over Leicester City in Saturday’s Premier League match.

Iwobi, making his second appearance for Fulham this season found the back of the net in the 70th minute to secure the win. England’s Emile Smith Rowe had given Fulham the lead earlier, but Leicester City’s Wout Faes equalized before Iwobi’s decisive strike.

Wilfred Ndidi, Iwobi’s Nigerian compatriot, played the full match for Leicester City but couldn’t prevent the loss. Nigeria’s Calvin Bassey was also on the winning side as he played ninety minutes. Fulham and Leicester City are now 10th and 14th respectively on the English Premier League Table after two games.
