NIGERIA : ASUU Declares Indefinite Strike in Niger Delta University

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) at Niger Delta University (NDU), a Bayelsa State government-owned institution, has announced an indefinite strike.

The decision, declared on Tuesday during a meeting at the union’s secretariat in Amassoma, follows the alleged failure of the Bayelsa State government to fulfill agreements reached with the union.
