Vehicular movement in the Surulere area of Lagos State has been limited by police authorities due to the federal constituency by-election. 

Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, made this announcement on Friday, providing clarification on a prior movement restriction order issued by the Force Headquarters.

“CLARIFICATION: In the forthcoming bye-election in Lagos State, restriction of movement is applicable only in the election area, Surulere Federal Constituency I,” he posted on his X handle.

He added: “There is no restriction of movement in other parts of the state.”
