“Manchester City is one of the biggest clubs in the world. Representing them is a dream come true for me and my family,” he said. “The last two seasons have been great, but this is just the beginning.”

Known for his versatility, Marmoush can play as a striker, winger, or number 10. He described his style as “fast, good on the ball, and dangerous,” emphasizing his winning mentality.

City’s director of football, Txiki Begiristain, praised Marmoush’s “outstanding pace and awareness,” highlighting his adaptability as a key strength.

Marmoush began his career with Wadi Degla in Egypt before joining VfL Wolfsburg in 2020. After loan stints at FC St Pauli and VfB Stuttgart, he moved to Frankfurt in 2023, where he netted 37 goals and contributed 20 assists in 67 games.

In addition to Marmoush, Manchester City has also bolstered their squad with the signings of Brazilian defender, Vitor Reis, 19, from Palmeiras for £30m, and Uzbekistan defender Abdukodir Khusanov from Lens for £34m.
