President Bola Tinubu has announced that Nigeria will streamline technicalities and fast-track agreements with Brazil in areas such as trade, aviation, energy transition, food and agricultural development, and natural resources exploration.
Tinubu made this known during a bilateral meeting with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva at the Copacabana Forte, where he emphasized the need to remove bureaucratic bottlenecks hindering the realization of Nigeria’s agricultural potential.
The President highlighted the country’s competitive advantage in agriculture and its potential for long-term partnerships with Brazil, particularly in livestock farming and the blue economy.
Silva assured that all agreements with Nigeria would be regularized, and memoranda of understanding would be updated and signed without delay during Tinubu’s next visit.
