Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has relieved Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Galadima of his position as Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, effective immediately.
The decision was announced in a statement by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, citing a minor cabinet reshuffle aimed at injecting fresh ideas and strengthening governance.
Governor Mohammed expressed appreciation for Galadima’s service to the state and wished him well in his future endeavors.
He reassured residents of Bauchi State of his administration’s continued commitment to peace, security, and good governance.
A replacement for the sacked commissioner will be announced in due course.
The reshuffle is part of the administration’s efforts to periodically review its cabinet, improve service delivery, and ensure effective implementation of government policies and programs.
This move is seen as a strategic step to reposition the government for better performance.
