Adegbenro brings over two decades of experience in audit, enterprise risk management, and business process optimization to the role.

She joined EKEDC in 2015 and has led audit engagements and implemented robust fraud management frameworks.

This appointment follows Transgrid Enerco Limited’s acquisition of a 60% stake in EKEDC for N360 billion in December 2025.

The consortium includes North-South Power, Stanbic Infrastructure Fund, and Axxela.
