The federal government has set 150 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into both public and private universities, as well as colleges of nursing in Nigeria.
Minister of Education Tunji Alausa announced the decision on Monday at the 2026 admission policy meeting organized by JAMB in Abuja.
The new benchmark applies to the 2026 admission cycle.
