President Bola Tinubu met with Confederation of African Football President Patrice Motsepe on Tuesday on the sidelines of the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi, Kenya.
CAF said the meeting focused on cooperation between governments, football authorities and the private sector in Nigeria and across Africa.
Also present were Nigeria Football Federation President Ibrahim Gusau, former NFF President Amaju Pinnick, and CAF’s acting Secretary-General Samson Adamu.
Tinubu arrived in Nairobi on Monday for the summit, which brings together African leaders, investors and development partners to discuss economic transformation, trade, infrastructure, climate resilience and digital innovation.
The presidency said his participation reflects Nigeria’s commitment to regional cooperation and Africa-led solutions to continental challenges. The Nigerian delegation includes ministers for foreign affairs, agriculture, communications, environment, trade and the marine economy.
