Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola has officially obtained her nomination and expression of interest forms to contest for the House of Representatives under the All Progressives Congress.
Daramola shared photos of the forms on Facebook, confirming her bid to represent Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1. She said she would “fervently support laws promoting the welfare of workers” if elected.
In a message to residents, she urged them to “nurture their ambition with purpose and clarity,” describing herself as their “servant and potential aspirant.” She added that she would continue to pray for opportunities and safety for the community and pledged to work toward building “a stronger, better Oshodi.”
Her entry adds to the growing list of APC aspirants ahead of the 2027 elections. It follows recent moves by other public figures, including socialite Cubana Chief Priest, who picked forms for Orsu/Orlu/Oru East in Imo, and actor Zubby Michael, who declared his intention to run under the African Democratic Congress.
The APC released its election timetable on April 20, setting the nomination and expression of interest forms for House of Representatives aspirants at N9 million and N1 million respectively.
Daramola began her acting career in 1998 and has featured in several Nigerian films.
