Isa Pantami, former minister of communications and digital economy, has joined the Peoples Democratic Party and secured the party’s governorship ticket for Gombe State ahead of the 2027 elections.
Pantami emerged as the PDP candidate through a voice affirmation during the party’s governorship primary held on Tuesday in Gombe.
The former minister served in the federal cabinet until 2023.
