Super Falcons Coach, Randy Waldrum has invited 22 Players to the crucial Paris 2024 Olympic two-legged Qualifier against the Banyana Banyana of South Africa on the 5th of April 2024.

The list includes the captain of the Super Falcons, Rasheedat Ajibade, Asisat Oshoala, Goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Ashleigh Plumptre, Osinachi Ohale. Top stars like Halimat Ayinde, Christy Ucheibe, Ifeoma Onumonu and Uchenna Kanu also made the list. The likes of Oluwatosin Demehin and Rofiat Imuran did not make the American Coach Invited players list.

Super Falconets and Robo Queens FC Defender, Shukurat Oladipo received her first call to the Super Falcons Squad as she is set to compete with Osinachi Ohale , Ashleigh Plumptre, Michelle Alozie, Nicole Payne and Chidinma Okeke for the defensive role. The other players invited are Deborah Abiodun, Esther Okoronkwo and Uchenna Kanu.

The Super Falcons will host Banyana Banyana in the first leg on the 5th of April 2024 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja before the return leg fixture which will take place at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria, South Africa on the 9th of April 2024. The overall winners of the two legs will join Brazil, Spain and Japan in Group C of the Women’s Football Paris 2024 Olympic Games scheduled to kick off on the 25th of July 2024.
